Following a distinguished career with the United States Department of Justice during which she supervised and handled a number of sophisticated and groundbreaking fraud cases, Ms. Durrell is now in private practice representing whistleblowers and handling federal and state False Claims Act and related white collar litigation. She is available both to consult on and to manage such matters for whistleblowers as well as for defendants or targets of a government investigation. She is also available on a select basis to provide compliance training, consult on training programs, to assist with internal investigations, and to serve as a mediator. When representing False Claims Act qui tam whistleblowers/relators, Ms. Durrell associates with attorney Robert M. Thomas, Jr. of Thomas & Associates in Boston, Massachusetts.
While Ms. Durrell currently concentrates her practice in the area of government fraud, she has handled a variety of complex trial court and appellate cases in numerous other areas of the law during her twenty-five year career. She also has extensive background in the area of attorney ethics and professional responsibility. She is available to handle such other matters on a select basis. |
